Yusuf Pathan first developed his level as a hard-hitting batsman and offspinner for the Baroda Under-16 group in the Vijay Resource Award in 1999-2000. His amazing showings saw him easily go up the activities to the Baroda U-19 and the Western Position U-19 factors. He developed his Ranji launch against Saurashtra in 2001-02, but it was not until the 2004-05 period, by when youthful brother Irfan Pathan was dressed in the across the nation colors, that he founded himself as a regular in the Baroda group. Pathan accomplished the 2004-05 period as Baroda’s fourth-highest scorer and third-highest wicket-taker.
