David Robert Joseph Beckham or David Beckham is an English footballer who plays midfield for Los Angeles Galaxy in Major League Soccer. Beckham was born on 2^nd May 1975 and began his professional carrier by making his first-team debut with Manchester United in 1992 at the age of 17. In 2003 he left Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid which he later left for the Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy, signing a five year contract with them on 1 July 2007.

He made his England debut in international football in 1996 aged 21. He captained his team from 2000 to the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals in which he delivered a superb performance however he couldn’t make to the 2010 FIFA World Cup due to a severe injury.

He was a two time runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year. In 2004 he was named as the highest paid footballer in the World. He was Google’s most searched person regarding all the sports stuff during 2003-2004. With such a great success graph he has become globally recognized and a top fashion icon.

David has married singer turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham and have four children with her.
